The Philosophy of Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler didn't see the universe in a way that's new to us as moderns. The concept of harmony was central to his lifelong project of thinking God's thoughts after him. He tried to incorporate musical harmonies into his theory because he was so convinced there was this grand cosmic harmony at work. And it turned out that his earlier ideas were incorrect.
