G k Chesterton wrote about the levitation incident in his book, saint thomas aquinas. He said: Somebody seems to have caught a glimpse of the sort of solitary miracle which modern psychic people call levitation. And he must surely have either been a liar or a literal witness - not exactly a ringing endorsement of the event's factual accuracy. In this version they say that the brethren saw him lifted in ecstasy. But that's an ambiguous phrase. Lifted in ecstasy could just mean caught up in a vision. Some accounts of the incident don't explicitly mention levitation. Consequently, at least at the present stages of my research, i can't rule out the possibility that the account originated
