The philosophical area that deals with this is population ethics. I just read part of it and skipped it because it just seemed to be completely unnecessary For what he was trying to say so I couldn't give you a concrete answer for why that would chapter was there. It's like all about at every moment in time You'll have consistent beliefs right you want to bet like 51 percent on something and then 52 percent on its opposite and then people are going to be able to make bets against you Yeah, I don't know there's some focus on like obviously having consistent beliefs is A good thing, but there's something with like you take this to the limit and I yeah, I'm not sure exactly
