The Impact of Social Media on the Muslim Community
I feel like men are becoming more feminine. We think there's a lack of positive role models in our communities. I personally believe that we do have a lot of positive road models around us, but they're not on social media. Most people just go to a mosque and pray and that's it, but that's not how a mosque should be. A sense of community is really important to these guys. And that's what they found online. But having spent weeks now watching a lot of this content myself, I can see why many women are going to find it offensive. As the definition of Islam goes along so does the definition of masculinity. What does it mean to be a man?
