I want these guys to have things better than me. I think that's leadership. Sometimes we can be very selfish. You know, you get good people, and you want to keople because you want to do wel right, right and on. It's not about that. No, abyut creating opportunities and helping good people live their dreams. That's winning at a different level. And i certainly hope, you know, we're able to do that here. How cool of a legacy is that? When you talk about what you want to be remembered for? Mean, man, that's the stuff.

Stan Johnson was hired as Loyola Marymount University's men's basketball head coach on March 20, 2020. The 2020-21 season saw meteoric growths across the board for LMU men’s basketball. In his first season as head coach, Stan Johnson guided his team through the COVID-19 pandemic and posted a winning record in the WCC for the first time since 2011-12.
