"You are coerced into using money, that is, you and i are," he says. "Any action taken with respect to the money without the consent of the majority seems like it's at least complicit in coercion", argues Ocas. A stateless currency system would give people a high degree of self-sovereignity as well as empowering them against their own economic systems - but this could also be seen as an act of exploitation.
