Moquer doesn't provide any federal preemption protection for state, consumer protection or liability claims. Are we going to see more lawsuits alleging that products contain chemicals that are not clean or not natural or non-toxic? I don't know. It may have a chilling effect on new market entrants because they just don't have the resources to do the kind of regulatory compliance work needed.
