Sorra and Bliss is a debut novel from British writer Claire Powell. It's about modern family dynamics and also actually very much about depression and characters in crisis. The story centers on like 30 something's Jamie and Nicole and their parents Jerry and Linda who are getting divorced after decades of marriage. Every encounter is set at a table in a restaurant or bar so sometimes there'll be name check like it starts at the Delune. They talk about going to Otolengi to the Tittifils market even when they're describing like a Marks and Spencer's spread for example.
