How to Deal With Anger and Sadness
I think the biggest pain for me was being caused by trying not to feel those difficult feelings, that actually feeling them was much easier than constantly trying to escape them. Anger can make us feel really powerful, but it's like trying to contain a tidal wave. One piece of advice I often give is for people to practice in times where sadness or anger seems to be really at its weakest, like strength. And then you build the capacity to work with stronger experiences when they come up.
