Inventing should be a last resort, he says. If you're trying to solve a problem, better to find somebody else who solved it before you and copy what they did. But that doesn't work if it's never been solved. And so the reason I wrote the book is because we need millions of people who are willing to take that moment and step across that line from the known to the unknown.
