Do You Really Need Martial Law?

You don't need martial law for tea or gas, you can just put that shit on full blast if the cops are interested in doing so. The fines for refusing orders are quite small because the law has been forgotten for forty five years. So all this talk about we need martial law to sort of compel abor in a situation where all the people who would hold the batons and, you know, beat people for not obeying? That's a fantasy. And what do they have left, which is the only institution with any sort of real power, because the media has no power.
