The Dangers of Not Using the Right Terminology
A lot of people read his posts and when he's wrong like that, they're going to go off and search for the wrong thing. Canvas is basically the space available in the browser to play with CSS. I'm sure all of you know what a browser viewport is. The amount of screen that's available within the browser itself to display a web page. Not everyone runs their browser full screen. So quite often you've got a smaller space available to show your website in than your screen could potentially show. It's really not too relevant when it comes to user experience and what people are seeing.
