Is Christ God, or Is He Not God?
Homousias is a greek phrase. It's there's really no way to translate it exactly into latin. Christ was god, but he was not the same god that you hear talked about in genesis and exodus. He was a different person, but his essence was also god. They shared the same essence, and they were somehow, in this way, equal. Well, chertullian tried to put forward this same sort of idea, but in latin right?
