The Domination Model in Forestry
M, a lot of critiques from the scientific and academic establishment. We're still trying to grow trees that are tall and dominant,. becase they're going to provide commodities in the future. It dominates how we practise forestry. One of the biggest heart breaking parts for me is that we're still clear cutting our forests at a really high rate. A we only have a few % of our original old growth forests left. And so i feel like we're on the cusp of change, but we're just not quite there yet.
