Etherium launched 12, 18 months ago and was under development for another couple of years before that. At the time, we tried to convince exchanges to like, wouldn't it be cold to do like a dex? You could do it completely on chain. The price completely unvesed the solemnity, and they could care less about anyg of the stuff. They were just completely built in.
