There's no, yeah, it's not a determinate relationship between those two things. And you need some extra sort of moral and value based explanatory framework to get anything normative out of that. The problem is, even your desire to need to take care of work is always already precluded from having any sort of value outside of the capitalist logic. So then it becomes inherently problematic. A lot of this comes from like this idea that like abstraction is bad, that any sort of reduction or putative reduction of quality to quantity is bad.
