This is the hubbledeep field. It contains almost the entire history of the universe. We are looking for the first light that turned on at the very beginning of cosmic time, its impact on its surroundings. Scientists have a pretty good guess at what allowed us to see light so in science, we know what happened when it became transparent. The web will low us to see the faintest galaxies at the edge of the detectable, observable universe.

A lava planet, life on other worlds, the very first starlight in the universe — the most powerful space telescope ever built is ready to reveal many mysteries of the cosmos.
