DeSantis is, you know, legitimate lane is to be the socially conservative candidate. People who aren't evangelical don't know a lot of evangelicals may be unaware of this. It tends to have a very American soft and therapeutic cast even as it tries to maintain certain kind of traditional understandings of sexuality. But it often has a hard time doing that because of its desire to be soft be kind.
