The Fed's Call for Rate Cuts in September
Going into the summer you were calling for rate cuts potentially as soon as September. Where are you now on that call on Fed policy? We think this is going to be closer to 1981, where the Fed didn't start cutting rates until right on the doorstep of recession. If we don't get it, it's going to be a gradual glide down in the Fed funds rate incoming years.
