The Importance of Writing
After you wrote this, did you come up with an answer? I think like so many things, yes and no. If she had been in one of the more overcrowded places with someone indifferent to a cruel, as of course, that existed too, no, it would have been worse. It wasn't that I was actually picturing my own mother. The people kind of became real in their own way, different from my life, certainly.
