The Importance of Being a Good Wife

Before this PhD, I was working at Royal London, Royal Brompton Hospital. We were a team that was recruited to set up the clinical diagnostics lab. And before that, I was at Cambridge in Department of Plan Science and analyzing genomics data. My undergrad and masters were both in bioinformatics. You described it as kind of coming from a very patriarchal background where women weren't expected to achieve anything really. So tell us a bit about what that's meant to you with all the things you've just done.
