The State Should Regulate Gender Ideology
Sally Kohn: There's ambiguity across different states and communities about whether or not that is abuse. The critics, especially the one I'm going to read here in a minute, their core argument is essentially, no, there's no ambiguity here. This is abuse. And therefore the state should regulate it. She points out that giving the state additional authority over familial relationships is a slippery slope. But she doesn't worry about the state using its newfound power to intervene between parent and child to go against what they may want in the future because at the end we're right.Kohn: What if parents are sitting here and you're going to have red jurisdictions and blue jurisdictions?
