Cardinal Gregory's and indeed the archdiocese of Washington as an institution under Cardinal Gregory has adopted a position of I think it would be say friendly non-engagement. He hasn't told untrue Zintovars we can tell but what has been in our experience and many other journalists actually in the experience of many other Catholics over the last three years is precisely what you say friendlyNonEngagement. The cardinal sort of operative principle it seems has been simply not to answer questions from annoying Catholic media like us who are constantly nebinging about accounts.
