Inclusion seems to now be a bureaucratically mandated principle of corporate American also of American higher education. The rationale behind diversity, equity and inclusion is that every company needs to be having something like a day of expression so that all their employees can find a way to express themselves in their personal beliefs. Other things that are part of DEI programs have been proven many times over to have no impact whatsoever to create more division within the workplace.
