How to Talk Fast in a Debate
In the debate, it's like, Oh, great. You had a response really quickly. And you know, if they don't counter, you move on. So I've seen this with medical professionals and other types of ... people that are research writers or other things who go to these conferences. They don't have that ability to say I've learned this certain skill set. What about the rest of the world? It can lead them to one of two big things. One is unintelligible to the majority of the population. Or two, they actually develop blind spots. But I think what we desperately need right now is more interdisciplinary broad field work in our society.
