The Importance of Prayer

I've always appreciated analogies that the prayer is like learning a language, right? Yeah. The Lord never commands us, pray well. There's a difference there and an important one because even when we're saying pray well, who or what is the metric of good prayer? Is it me? Am I the metric of my good prayer? Because you know, sometimes there are constellations and prayer feels great and other times it's very dry and it doesn't. So our job in the life of prayer is not to sort of pray well.
