Using Shetland Fleece in Your Art Projects
Originally shear the sheep and black wool wasn't worth a lot so I used to just use it. But then when I peered on the internet, people were selling Welsh mountain fleeces. A lady in Carlisle wanted them for pigloomin so we actually went to Wales. Then my husband bought me a spinning wheel and started spinning...then felting is relatively new in the UK but I started like needle felting which I prefer out of everything really. You think the rear breed wool is really undervalued, don't you? It doesn't matter if it's soft or hash it all makes like lovely things really.
