In early 1934, on paper, there's 3 million SA men. And these men are very much aware of the power that the collective presence of their bodies performs in German streets. So they marawed through towns throughout Germany, thumbs in buckles, disdainful and arrogant. They say of a second revolution that would overthrow the aristocratic remnants of the Kaiser's Germany who are still in charge of the army and state bureaucracy. This second of brown revolution that they proclaim must return Nazism to its roots.
