Unlocking Cars - What's the Problem?

The same vulnerability was found in multiple vendors. It's not an uncommon issue, but it's not supercommon either. The basic idea is just, if you know the idea, you can impact it. Just the fact that they don't do any a authorization checking to make sure you are allowed to access that vehicle. And these hase all been patshed by implementing some of that s you can only acc ess your own vehicle.
