The Importance of Leverage in Property Investments
Inflation holds the key to a lot of this. We have inflation and history has shown us since the second world war was that longer cycles have been followed by shorter cycles. It just suggests that the next cycle will be shorter because we have inflation, and we have had a very long cycle, and it's taken a long time to double. That's why leverage is an absolute must for long-term property investors. And if all it does is pretty much match inflation, if it could just do that consistently every year, that would be wonderful as an investor. By using leverage, you're making a great return anyway. But I don't think you'd have to be brave to say yes
