The Cloud Atlas Is Not Catholic

It has a complex ring structure there. I want to say five or six nested stories. Each later story connects in some way to the previous one. The central episode is a sort of post apocalyptic. You know, here's the world trying to begin again. And so that, that sense of structure and also kind of the self destructive potential within whatever modern technological society are common.
