Master Humphrey's Clock - The Old Curious Shop and Barnaby Rush

After Hemingway's death, for the first time his short stories were put into a sort of chronological order. So I've just been reading through that very, very enjoyably. Every year I get myself a book, like a special book. And this one is really exciting. I got a three volume set of Master Humphrey's Clock. That's Charles Dickens. Now, it was a failed experiment. The readership, funnily enough, wasn't receptive to the weekly instalment model. But I tell you, I most certainly am. We use our time spent in fictional worlds with characters who may be a reflection of ourselves or indeed they may provide a teaching tale in person
