The Astronesian Expansion in the Philippines
The first step from tiwan to the philippines is undisputed by all but what i would call fringe scholars. People cross the batana straight and out rigor canoes, probably taking with them some rice millet,. red slipped pottery and an astranesian language. After 15 hundred b c, at least one part of the pattern becomes much clearer. It seems like astronesian speakers melted to varying degrees with the indigenous people already living in the islands of indonesia.
