Is Google Liable for a Content Moderation Decision?
The Supreme Court takes up the case of YouTube v. Google, which could lead to a ruling on whether tech companies can be held liable for users' online behavior. CNN's John Sutter: The question is whether we should hold a company like Google liable for those types of outcomes when they are unusual. He says if this liability shield is removed every time there's an incident where you can even make a plausible case that somebody was radicalized on the internet then it will not be a good outcome for these companies.
