How Long Can Children Work?

"I think one of the reasons you see a lot of bad child acting is that you cast an adult, a star," he says. "And then you will end up struggling every day on set trying to make it work." In Norway there are no professional child actors who you have to start like at zero to get them into films and TV shows. It's something I learned by doing film in school, if you cast the wrong person, you can learn from your mistakes. You don't have to be just a bad actor for the role; it makes life so much easier.
