The Evolution of Teacher Expectations and Attitudes

The amount of learning can be defined as the content covered. A top ability group is expected to cover an average of 1.2 to 1.5 lessons per day and a lowest ability group about 0.7 lessons per day. The quality of learning is the level of mastery of the content covered in the weeks of instruction that precede the test.
