CHAPTER

The Causal Relationship Between Condemnation and Suffering

The Vaisheh Sika is interested in knowing the whole universe. Gautama also uses the term Padartha, he says, by knowledge of the sixteen Padarthas, one is going to acquire the ultimate goal of human life. But these Padarthas are the entities which are required for engaging yourself in arguments in order to understand who you are. So if I am to discover myself, I will have to identify myself. And I am one entity in the whole universe; unless I know what I am not, how am I able to identify what I am? That's my enquiry into the entire universe.
