How Partner Choice Models Will Increase Cooperation Within the Population

In partner choice models humans have the ability to choose social partners and that these will be moderately to long-term social partners. The idea is that if you know how I'm if how I'm cooperating with another person right so if you know if I'm being selfish or generous with them then that will affect how you'll be as a cooperative partner to me whether you'll choose to cooperate with me. So this the idea is that this will increase cooperation within the population because there's this pressure to be seen as a good cooperator.
