Sunak's Choice in the General Election
I've not met a single conservative MP who thinks they're going to solve the small boats crisis this year. I think as we go into the general election, let's say I'm right. Let's say you've got 50,000, 60,000 crossing on the small boats. That's going to blow everything else out of the water. Conservatives are toast. It doesn't matter if inflation comes down to 3%, 4% or coalition of chaos. There's none of that here. And so I think for Sunak, it's going to become, in a way, I feel sorry for him because past dependency matters in politics.
