In coffee, it's often flipped. The coffee buyer has more resources and access to the latest research or coffee science. So what is unheard of in wine is very common in coffee industry. Unfortunately, coffee buyers have well meaning suggestions and advice for coffee producers. We are inadvertently contributing to the oppression of the people we say we want to honor.
