I think some people didn't really understand what i think someo the interview subjects meant by those sorts of things. They weren't saying like, your wimp. You sok if you can't do these things. What they're doing is their kind of looking back and trying to recreate the mentality that existed then with sort of a much more mature and knowing idea about the true reprecussions of it. It comes from a place of survivorship. And it's people who i think are very, very aware that of the dark side of their own childhoods.
