The Future of Humanity Is Not Going to Be a War

I think what is much closer to the mark is what someone like lon musk talks about, which is a massive population crash. And in a situation like that, it's harder to see how metaverse can sort of prop us up and be a crutch that gets us through into the long and indefinite digital future. In spite of it all, tea, the libertarians, or whomever, are right to observe that these are historically incredibly peaceful times. The appetite for major wars around the world has plummeted. We don't need russian-style civilizational war with additional power; we just need bigger rule by technocrats.
