Kant's Metaphysics of Morality
Schopenhauer argues that morality and moral behavior arise from compassion. Only in so far as an action has sprung from compassion does it have moral value. Professor campbell noted that oriental philosophy and kantian metaphysics were identical. Schopenhauer's ville shares much in common with asian ideas like the dao or the otman.
