The Verdict in the Murder of Jonathan Cruz

The jury found Brenda Lazaro responsible for shooting and killing Jonathan Cruz. Jury foreman Eddie Brown told us jurors pretty much agreed Brenda was the shooter before they even took their first vote. Five months after the civil verdict, the Dallas District Attorney invited them to a meeting and said there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
