The Impact of Losing Power in the Summer
Last month was the hottest June on record and July has been even hotter. We don't only see a large increase in electricity during heat waves, but we'd see it a general increase in electricity use because people are using them more often. Now, northern grids are more built for wintertime, but adding this extra demand during the summer means they're going to be taxed. There could be issues associated with their operations or they need to be rebuilt.
