What Kind of Consequences Do You Want to Promote?

I am not myself convinced that happiness is the only kind of consequence that matters. In fact, I'm not even sure that human welfare or perhaps the welfare of sentient beings is the onlykind of consequence that Matters. So I'm a consequentialist that wants to broaden out the category of consequences that matter beyond just happiness and beyond just the happiness of sentient beings. But I guess the main point would be that I'm concerned about fairness as another consideration that goes into the consequences that concern me.
