Katowak: Have we achieved our multiracial democracy if our institutions are still structured in ways that counteract one person, one vote? "Is it possible for America to have a truly equal and when I'm asking the question, because I don't even know exactly how they answered it?" she asks. 'What happens when a Black person's vote in Los Angeles or New York City functionally counts for less than a white person’s vote in Wyoming or Idaho?' says Katowak.
