Theta-bara was one of cinema's earliest sex symbols, which is kind of perfect for that character and for who Pearl is and an ex to. It's hard though because this is 1918. I don't know movie stars from that. Like if you get like even a decade later, I can start to put some together. But like 1918 is fucking early, man.I took a whole silent film course and I don't remember a lot of it. And it's not really for me.
