Perceptions Are a Bedrock of Perception, Right?

Theories ultimately are just provisional, right? All this work is now distilled into just a few equations. So i think at this point the conceptual understanding of the moves that we're making here is very important. The metaphor i think about then is like a dust hop interface or a virtual reality head set for a game. And just like evolutionary theory says what you're seeing guides adaptive action in the game and lets me play the game. That's why i went with this metaphor. I want to be very clear what the theory says mathematically, versus the metaphor that i think virtual reality headsets or inter faces are god good metaphor for that.
