What Would We Copy From Australia?
Australia is a friendly English-speaking country with a relatively high degree of income inequality. They also had racist immigration policies for longer than we did, but they're doing pretty well now. If we could copy one policy from Australia, what would that be? I would say their union,. Their union movement, which is very pro-productivity and also very effective at actually curbing the repacity of the CEO class. Also, gun control. All right, so we'll have more episodes about that later. Maybe we could have an episode about Australia and bringing John Quiggin. It would be fun. Or Justin Wilfers, we could bring in Justin Wilfering.
